Fiberweb plc, Simpsonville, SC, has made several recent appointments. Among them, the company has promoted Pamela Lewis and added Robert Baldy and Hollynn Moody to its Hygiene/Medical Americas sales and marketing teams. In June 2006, Ms. Lewis was named director of sales for the Hygiene/Medical Americas division and is responsible for nonwovens sales to private label markets including hygiene, medical and consumer wipes. Ms. Lewis has more than 20 years of experience in the nonwovens industry, beginning her career at Kimberly Clark in R&D and sales and marketing. Mr. Baldy, another industry veteran, has more than 12 years of experience with nonwovens and joins Fiberweb as P&G account manager for its Hygiene and Medical Americas division. Prior to Fiberweb, he worked for AstenJohnson as nonwovens product manager and at Kimberly-Clark where he held a number of positions in manufacturing, engineering and research. Ms. Moody joined Fiberweb’s marketing department in September as marketing associate for the Hygiene/Medical Americas division. She brings more than four years of extensive marketing and account management experience within the printing, grocery and promotional apparel industries. In the filtration area, Ashley Sullivan has joined Fiberweb as a marketing analyst. Reporting directly to Rick Bruno, senior business director of filtration, she will help manage marketing projects and oversee marketing analysis. Ms. Sullivan’s previous experience includes marketing positions at the First State Bank and Secure Buildings. Also in the filtration sector at Fiberweb, DeShawn Futtrell and Margaret Hernandez have been appointed as part of the company’s in-house sales team. They are available to answer questions, expedite orders and provide samples and specifications. “There are multiple filtration end uses,” said Mr. Bruno, “and we wanted to ensure we answered every customer’s needs. Ms. Hernandez and Mr. Futtrell have the experience and expertise to respond to questions and to provide samples and specifications.”
